Hello...
I started taking riding lessons at the age of 9 and ended up wanting to learn about good Horsemanship and ride competitively. My first focus was competing in Dressage and Hunt Seat, the start of a long trail that led me to Cathy Barker Seeton of Blue Royal Limited, a professional horse trainer who specialized in training Arabian Horses and Amateur Riders.
Soon, I started working with Cathy, a relationship that lasted over a decade. Cathy typically had over 40 horses in training at a time. Services offered included stud service, halter training, handling young horses, starting (breaking), saddle training, retraining, riding, conditioning and showing various breeds/disciplines and working with riders of all different skill levels. Not all the training horses I worked with were performance horses, many were trail horses or working western horses. We also gave lessons to any rider over age 4.

I studied Horsemanship and Horse Judging when enrolled in the University of California Davis Horsemastership Proficiency Program. Testing administered by UC Cal Poly instructors, I passed each level of proficiency with written exam, oral and demonstration. Awards presentation at the Kellogg Arabian Horse Center, I received Gold Medals for Horsemanship, Horse Judging with Oral Reasons and Impromptu Speaking. While in the Horsemastership program, I won three California State Riding Championships at California Horse Classic held in San Jose, Ca.

I served as elected Rancho Rebels 4-H President and conducted project leaders and membership meetings held at Heritage Park Equestrian Center. I organized successful horse shows co-hosted by Alta Loma Riding Club, Rancho Rebels and Rising Stars Equestrian Therapy with Western, English and Jumpimg classes.

In 2006 I moved to Idaho, where I worked with Quarter Horses and Paints as my show projects. I am now back in California with my Half Arabian gelding and National Show Horse mare.

I have been an active member of United States Equestrian Federation, Arabian Horse Association, National Show Horse Registry, United States Dressage Federation, California Dressage Society, Southern California Arabian and Half Arabian Association and Sierra Empire Arabian Horse Association.

Currently I am working with several different breeds and riding disciplines and riders varying from beginner, to people who have ridden all their lives.
